Budapest Weather Forecast

Hungary has a temperate climate, and there is a clear difference between the four seasons. The coldest month is January and the hottest one is July. The average temperature in July is 25C , in January 0-2 C, but on a hot summer day temperatures in Budapest can reach up to 33-35 C, and in January it can go down to -15 C during the night.

 

Spring arrives to Budapest at the beginning of April and usually ends in showers. Our summers are normally quite hot and though it doesn’t rain too much, it can get pretty humid. Early autumn, the indian summer, in the month of September is one of the most beautiful times of the year, but in November it gets foggy and rainy. Winter is short, cold and mostly dry, but sometimes it gets wonderfully bright and sunny.

 

The best time to visit Budapest is from April to June and September to November. If you like chilly weather come in the winter months and you might get to see Budapest covered in white.
